I am extremely jealous of the miniature building collections featured in this great article. I have probably 3 dozen — I started collecting when I lived in Florence in second grade. Initially the rule was that I had to climb the building to get one; I still try to uphold that rule whenever possible. I’ve never tried to buy any on EBay, though.
First acquisition: Giotto’s Campanile in Florence, Italy.
Most recent acquisitions: Pena National Palace in Sintra and Clerigos Tower in Porto, Portugal.
